Why two results?
Katz described a 1.6 mmol/L correction per 100 mg/dL glucose above 100. Hillier and colleagues found 2.4 mmol/L was a better overall estimate in their experiment and noted nonlinearity above 400 mg/dL. Corrected sodium is an estimate, not a treatment target.
